We stand behind every order we deliver. If something goes wrong on our end — a faulty product, a damaged shipment, or a delivery delay — we'll make it right. Here's exactly how.

Quick Summary

Material Bhejo offers refunds only in three cases: the product delivered is faulty, the shipment arrives damaged, or the delivery is significantly delayed beyond our promised window.

For all other situations — including change of mind, wrong size ordered, or no-longer-needed materials — we do not accept returns or issue refunds, as construction materials are bulky, perishable in storage, and difficult to resell.

Manufacturer warranties (cement durability, steel grade, plywood quality, paint coverage, etc.) are provided directly by the brand, not by Material Bhejo.

Eligible for Refund

  • Product delivered is physically broken, cracked, or damaged
  • Wrong product or wrong brand delivered (not matching the order)
  • Cement bags torn, hardened, or unusable on arrival
  • Tiles arrived chipped or shattered in transit
  • Shipment delayed by more than 24 hours from promised delivery time without prior notice
  • Quantity short — fewer items delivered than ordered

Not Eligible for Refund

  • Change of mind after delivery
  • Wrong product or quantity ordered by mistake
  • Product no longer needed for the project
  • Damage caused after delivery (mishandling at site)
  • Cement bags torn or used after acceptance of delivery
  • Shade variation in tiles, paints, or wood (manufacturer-dependent)
  • Manufacturer-related defects (covered under brand warranty)

1When We Issue Refunds

We process refunds only in the following situations, and only if reported within 24 hours of delivery with photo or video evidence:

  • Faulty or broken products: If the product you receive is physically damaged, defective, or not in working condition due to packaging or transit issues.
  • Damaged shipment: If the outer packaging or the product itself shows visible signs of damage at the time of delivery (cracked tiles, torn cement bags, dented hardware, broken sanitaryware, etc.).
  • Significant delivery delay: If your order is delivered more than 24 hours after the promised delivery window without any prior communication from our team.
  • Wrong product or short quantity: If we accidentally ship the wrong brand, wrong specification, or fewer items than ordered.

2What We Don't Refund

Construction materials are not like consumer electronics or clothing. Once delivered and accepted, most items cannot be resold or restocked. For this reason, the following situations do not qualify for refund or return:

  • Change of mind — if you no longer want the product after it has been delivered.
  • Ordering errors — wrong size, wrong quantity, or wrong specification ordered by you.
  • Damage after delivery — any damage caused at the construction site, during handling, or after acceptance of the order.
  • Used or partially used products — opened cement bags, applied paint cans, cut plywood sheets, installed tiles, etc.
  • Surplus or leftover materials from completed projects.
  • Natural shade variations in tiles, paints, plywood, or natural stone, which are inherent to manufacturing and not considered defects.

3Manufacturer Warranty

All products sold by Material Bhejo carry the original manufacturer's warranty, where applicable. This includes brands such as UltraTech, ACC, Tata Steel, JSW, Century Plywood, Greenply, Asian Paints, Berger, Kajaria, Somany, Astral, Havells, and others.

For any warranty claims related to product performance, durability, manufacturing defects, or grade-related issues, customers should contact the respective manufacturer directly with their original invoice and product packaging.

Important Note on Warranty

Material Bhejo is a distributor and supplier — we are not the manufacturer. While we ensure all products are 100% genuine, sourced from authorised brand partners, and sealed in original packaging, we cannot be held responsible for manufacturing defects, product performance issues, or warranty claims that fall under the brand's responsibility.

Our team is happy to assist you with manufacturer contact details, warranty documentation, and claim coordination wherever possible.

4How to Request a Refund

If your order qualifies under our refund eligibility, follow these four simple steps:

Report Within 24 Hours

Contact us within 24 hours of receiving your order via WhatsApp, call, or email.

Share Evidence

Send clear photos or videos of the damaged or faulty product along with the original packaging.

We Verify

Our team reviews your claim within 24–48 hours and confirms refund eligibility.

Refund Processed

Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to your original payment method.

5Refund Processing & Timeline

Once your refund is approved by our team:

  • Online payments (UPI, cards, net banking): Refunded to the original payment method within 5–7 business days.
  • Cash on Delivery (COD) orders: Refunded via UPI or bank transfer within 5–7 business days after collecting your bank details.
  • Replacement option: In some cases, we may offer a free replacement instead of a refund, subject to product availability.

Refund timelines may vary slightly depending on your bank or payment provider. If you don't see the refund after 7 business days, please contact our support team and we'll investigate immediately.

6Order Cancellations

You may cancel your order free of cost any time before it has been dispatched from our warehouse. Once an order is out for delivery, cancellations are not accepted.

For prepaid orders, the full amount will be refunded to your original payment method within 5–7 business days of cancellation.

7Limitations of Liability

Material Bhejo is not responsible for:

  • Any project delays or financial losses caused by delayed deliveries beyond our control (traffic, weather, unforeseen events).
  • Application errors or installation issues caused by labour or contractors at the construction site.
  • Manufacturing defects, performance issues, or product failures that are covered under the manufacturer's warranty.
  • Damages or losses arising from incorrect specifications provided at the time of order.
